Who we are
Founded in March 2024, Merida Worldwide quickly grew popular for its innovative activities and has become the most popular cultural exchange community in Merida — weekly meetups, language exchanges, and real friendships. The community came first; this service came second, because we saw exactly what newcomers needed: relocation that's human-centered, not transactional.

Monthly outings to explore Yucatan's adventures, headlined by our Cenote Sessions — live DJ sets in secret cenotes off the tourist map. Swim, dance, and connect through integration activities that turn strangers into friends.
Every Tuesday at 7 PM we practice English, French, German, and Spanish — followed by salsa classes at the same venue after the exchange.
Every Friday at 7 PM we bring together visitors, new expats, long-time residents, and locals who want to improve their English and meet people from other countries — ideal for the American and Canadian community living in Merida.

From a guided Scouting Trip for those still deciding, to full immigration coordination, housing search, and settling-in logistics for those ready to move — fixed-fee packages for expats, remote workers, retirees, and international residents.
Packages are offered by invitation following your Landing Call, based on fit and availability.
Our Guarantee — if an appointment or filing is missed because of our error, we fix it — rescheduling, re-filing, whatever it takes — at no additional cost to you.
Package fees do not include the separate fee charged by the immigration attorneys who handle your case. We refer you to trusted attorney partners we work with directly, with a demonstrated track record of successful cases among our own members.

How it works
A $60, 40-minute consultation to assess your timeline, budget, and eligibility. Required before any package is offered.
Based on your Landing Call, we recommend the relocation package that fits your timeline and budget — Scouting Trip, Soft Landing, or White Glove. Each is a fixed-fee engagement covering immigration coordination with our attorney partners, housing search, and a single point of contact throughout.
We manage every appointment — consulate, INM, customs, moving day — on one shared timeline, working directly with our immigration attorney partners and attending key appointments alongside you.
We meet you at the airport, confirm utilities and essentials are set up, and complete your orientation. WhatsApp support continues through your first weeks, with ongoing access to the community after.
